GETTING TO WATERVILLE VALLEY & PARKING
GETTING HERE
Waterville Valley Resort is located in central New Hampshire’s White Mountains, making it an easy drive from much of New England.
From Boston: approximately 2.5 hours
From Concord, NH: approximately 1.5 hours
From Portland, ME: approximately 4 hours
Winter driving conditions can change quickly in the mountains. We recommend allowing extra travel time on snowy days and checking weather and road conditions before you head out.
Parking & VALLEY Access
Parking is available near the base area and throughout the Valley. On busier weekends and holidays, parking attendants and shuttle service help keep traffic moving and make it easy to get from your car to the lifts.
All parking lots offer ski-out access. The Preferred Parking Lot offers ski-in/ski-out access.
Complimentary shuttle service runs between parking areas, lodges, and the Valley
Accessible parking is available near key base facilities
Arriving early—especially on weekends, holidays, and powder days—helps ensure the smoothest start to your day.

First-Time Skier & Rider Info
If you’ve never skied or snowboarded before, you’re in the right place. Beginner lessons focus on learning the basics in a supportive environment, starting with flat terrain and gentle slopes.
Most first-time guests:
Start in designated learning areas (Kinderpark or Lower Mountain)
