MONDAY - MARCH 7TH

Diary posts are written the night before with the projected conditions. Updates will be added the following morning if conditions or grooming plans change.

Monday 3/7/22

It looks like we have another wet day headed our way, which won’t allow us to do any grooming. The snow may start to feel a bit slick as it transforms over to granular and consolidates. There’s also a possibility of some glazing overnight with winds picking up. If you’re looking to get out it’s best to stick to flatter trails on the North End. Lower Osceola, Moose Run, Wicked Easy will be good options. We’re calling the South End closed for the day to hopefully help it come through the rain a little better.

Looking beyond the rain, it looks like Tuesday we have lots of wind to help pull moisture back out of the snow, so we should have a chance of grooming mid-morning.

Don’t give up on winter, it hasn’t given up on you!
