MLK Weekend is right around the corner, and Waterville Valley is ready to deliver an action-packed holiday filled with skiing, celebrations, and can’t-miss events both on and off the slopes. Whether you’re here to ski or ride, watch the world-class competition, or soak up the après scene, this long weekend has something for everyone.
$26 Lift Tickets 1/15 & 1/16
Want to get out on the mountain early and score an unbeatable deal? On Thursday and Friday, January 15th and 16th, lift tickets will be available for just $26 per day! Enjoy your ski day at an unreal price, and be sure to check out the Intermountain Health Freestyle Cup on Lower Bobby’s. If you are interested in attending but do not want to ski, Foot Passenger tickets are also available for $20.
This year’s Freestyle Cup carries even higher stakes, serving as the final stop for athletes chasing a spot in the 2026 Winter Games—raising the intensity on every run and making it a must-see event.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 17TH
INTRO TO ALPINE TOURING | 8:30AM-10:30AM
Join us for an Intro to Alpine Touring clinic created for beginners and those looking to strengthen their uphill skills. This small-group, lesson-based experience covers the essentials of alpine touring, including proper equipment use, efficient uphill techniques, and confidence-building on the skin track. Spots are still available as of Thursday, January 8th, so be sure to sign up ASAP!
BMW ACTIVATION | ALL WEEKEND IN FRONT OF THE BASE LODGE!
Make a stop in the Courtyard to experience the BMW Vehicle Display, featuring a range of BMW’s newest vehicles. Explore the lineup, ask questions, and get an up-close look at BMW’s newest, most technologically advanced vehicles.
MOAT APRÈS SKI PARTY WITH LIVE MUSIC | 3:30PM-6:30PM
Join us at the Freestyle Lounge for a family-friendly après ski party! Live music will be performed by Paul Warnick. Moat Mountain Brewing will be in Freestyle with giveaways, samples, and potentially more! Unwind with a Czech Pilsner in hand.
FIREWORKS IN TOWN SQUARE | 7PM SHARP
Bring friends and family to Town Square and watch as the firworks display lights up the night sky directly over Corcoran Pond. Enjoy a beverage (as Waterville Valley is an open container town!), soak in the atmosphere, and don’t miss the show kicking off at 7:00 PM sharp.

Join us every Sunday morning for a welcoming, non-denominational church service at the top of Kinderpark. Ski down, walk up, or hitch a ride up via the Lower Pasture Carpet. Everyone is welcome!
HIGH NOON APRÈS SKI PARTY WITH LIVE MUSIC | 3:30PM-6:30PM
Close out MLK Weekend with another family-friendly après ski party at the Freestyle Lounge. Enjoy live music from the Justin and Paul Duo, plus giveaways and samples from High Noon.
