Join us for a mountain extravaganza at the Waterville Valley Ski Resort that celebrates stunning foliage while looking ahead to ski season! Enjoy this year's festival with a live DJ, themed food & drinks for purchase, retail & merchandise, competitions and games, and more - all in the base area (no ticket required to access event)!

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
The 2026 Schwendi Fest will feature scenic chairlift rides on Tecumseh Express (ticket required), mountain top bonfire outside the Schwendi Hutte, games, competitions, activities, football games in the Freestyle Lounge, live entertainment with DJ Brett, on-site shopping, photo ops with our groomers & their cats, food, and drinks!
TECUMSEH EXPRESS TICKETS
Lift tickets for Tecumseh Express can be purchased in advance on shop2.waterville.com or in person at the event. When you purchase in advance, you get unrestricted access to the Snow’s Mountain Chairlift starting Saturday 10/10, through Monday 10/12! Ages 5 and under ride for free (child must be present with you when picking up junior ticket). Lift tickets can be picked up in advance at the Adventure Center starting Friday 10/2 thru Saturday 10/10 from 8:30am-5pm. A valid photo ID is required for Schwendi Fest Lift Ticket pick-up.
Do not lose your lift ticket. Once Schwendi Fest tickets are picked up, they can not be replaced or refunded.
FOOD & DRINKS
All food is a-la-carte, we will be dishing out some classics at our Freestyle BBQ with burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, and beer brats, plus additional on-theme snacks & treats at the Schwendi Hutte! Drinks including beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages will be served via tokens purchased at our on-site token & ticket stations.
GAMES & COMPETITIONS
This year’s games include Keg Toss, Balloon Toss, Skier Relay Race (Kid & Adult rounds), Musical Chairs (Kid & Adult rounds), Stein-Holding (18+, Men & Women rounds), Exhibition Scavenger Hunt, Yard Games, Lollipop Pumpkin Pull, and Pumpkin Bowling!

FAQ’S
SEATING: Seating may be limited - we encourage you to bring picnic blankets (no lawn chairs will be allowed on the chairlift).
PETS: Pets are welcome at Schwendi Fest but are not permitted on Tecumseh Express. Guests bringing pets to the mountain-top must hike with them to and from the summit. Pets must be leased at all times at both the base area and summit.
ADULT BEVERAGES: Please be aware that, in accordance with the New Hampshire Liquor Commission rules & regulations, outside alcohol cannot be consumed at the summit. Given this rule is a stipulation of our liquor license, we will be strictly enforcing this policy. Coolers will not be allowed on the chairlift. You'll be able to purchase alcoholic beverages from the Schwendi Hutte. If you're planning on enjoying some adult beverages during Schwendi Fest, please remember to bring your government-issued I.D.
PARKING: Guest parking is available in Lots 1 - 9. Please keep all fire lanes, entrances, exits or accessible parking spaces clear. The Resort Trolley will be running from 9am - 5pm - DD covered!
