The trails will remain closed for skiing on Saturday while we assess the impact of Friday’s wet weather. The South End is certainly on hiatus until our next snowstorm. The North End should at least have some coverage left, the question will be whether it’s enough to be able to grind it up after it freezes solid. We’ll keep you updated as we go.

Don’t let this little speedbump put a damper on your holiday spirit. Come relieve some pent up energy with a little retail therapy. It’s hard to be sad with a new pair of skis in your hands. I promise we’ll get the trails up and running as soon as we can so you can try out all your new gear.

This short hiatus from skiing is also a great opportunity to treat your skis to a spa day at the Nordic Center. While liquid waxes are an awesome quick fix, a hot wax is still needed every so often to hydrate your bases and keep your skis happy. Waxless skis just refers to not needing to apply grip wax, you still need glide wax on the tips and tails periodically. The more work your skis do, the less you have to!
