There’s more great skiing on tap for Friday. The grooming crew will be out early morning on the North End to put a fresh groom down. We’ll also smooth out most of the South End and begin packing a few additional trails to prepare for more snow. The skiing on Thursday was fantastic and Friday should be more of the same.

I’m hearing a lot of excitement around the storm headed our way Sunday night into Monday, with the potential for significant snowfall. It almost makes up for the frigid weekend we have ahead. But as we all know, Nordic skiing is the ideal sport for cold temperatures. It is important, however, to recognize that extreme cold should make us all consider extra precautions in how we dress and in our route choices. It will be a great weekend for making short laps out of the Nordic Center.
