WEDNESDAY - MARCH 9TH

Diary posts are written the night before with the projected conditions. Updates will be added the following morning if conditions or grooming plans change.

Wednesday 3/9/22

We’re back in action! Conditions are still a bit variable, but we’ve been able to bring some life back to the trails on the North End. The groomer will be out Wednesday morning for a third go around since the refreeze, which should help to soften things up. We will try to set classic tracks where we can. Use caution on hills, especially on Livermore Road as some of them remain firmer than others. Also use caution in the parking lots and trail access points as many road edges remain icy.

It looks like the South End is on hiatus for the time being. There is still some snow left out there, but we’re a bit landlocked with Town Square and the Pond Loop tunnels being in rough shape. It looks like we might have a chance to bring it back to life if we pick up some snow on Saturday.

Winter isn’t over!
