Night Activity Guide

Waterville Valley has a lot to offer once the sun goes down. Whether you’re looking for outdoor activities, fun indoor activities, or a relaxing night out we have something for every age group. Don’t just come for the day. Stay with us and see what Waterville Valley has to offer once the lifts stop spinning. When the stars come out and the cats start grooming, there’s still plenty to do in Waterville Valley!

1. Night Skiing

On Friday & Saturday evenings, when the quad stops spinning the lower mountain trails off of the Exhibition Poma light up for the night. Come ski under the lights and get some extra turns in for the day, or if you’re just arriving it’s a great way to stretch the legs after sitting in the car. Whether you’re looking to lap the groomer on Exhibition or send it in the Lower White Caps park, Night Skiing is a great activity for families and friends of all ages. When you get hungry, or thirsty the Freestyle Lounge is also open for food and beverage service. Night Skiing is $25 or $20 for passholders and operates Friday nights from 4-8pm and on Saturday nights from 4-9pm. Tickets must be purchased online, in advance due to limited capacity. 2. Winter Lights

Take a stroll through Town Square and experience the magic of small town New England under the Winter Lights, a light display located in the town center. While walking, keep an eye out for the moose ice sculpture standing proudly in the center of Town Square. Stop into Jugtown before your walk and grab a beverage to enjoy while you take your stroll. Whether you’re looking to take a romantic stroll with a loved one, or enjoy the scenery with your family Winter Lights is a great activity for all ages.

3. Snow Tubing

The thrill of sliding downhill doesn’t end when the lifts stop spinning. The Waterville Valley Clubhouse and Tubing Center offers an old fashioned tubing hill, located right in town. Adults can hang out around the fire rings on the Clubhouse patio while watching their kids tube, or they can join them for the fun. There are no age limits on fun! Feeling hungry? Across the street from The Tubing Center are three local food trucks, so grab a bite, gather around the fire, and refuel. The Tubing Center is open Thursday-Sunday. Check out their website for more info.
