Don’t Miss These Summer Events

Waterville Valley is known to be a hub for summer events. This year, our event lineup is bigger and better than ever. Make the most of your time in the Valley and check out our curated list of must-attend events!

Family Carnival

Turn your Independence Day into a Weekend Getaway and join Waterville Valley Recreation Department for their Annual 4th of July Family Carnival. Packard's Field will transform into an inflatable paradise - with bouncy houses, slides, inflatable games, obstacle courses, and slip-n-slides. There will also be relay races, a dunk tank, DIY tie-dye, mini-golf, and more! Tartaglia’s food truck will be on-site serving up homemade wood-fired pizza! Afterward, stop by Town Square for a free outdoor concert beginning at 12pm in the Town Square Gazebo. The cost of admission is $15, but with your fee, you gain access to EVERYTHING the carnival has to offer!

Vintage Bazaar

Vintage Bazaar is known as the TOP Vintage Market in the USA. This year, they are hosting their New England festival in Waterville Valley, NH. This festival will take place at Town Square Disc Golf Course - an expansive, grassy field boasting panoramic views of the surrounding mountain peaks. While taking in this awe-inspiring scenery, you can peruse unique antiques, vintage finds, architectural salvage, rusty junk, repurposed goodies, and one-of-a-kind crafts. This dog-friendly weekend festival will also include food trucks, adult libations, and live musical performances. The cost of admission is $10 per day, or $15 if you buy a weekend pass in advance online. Admission is free for children under 16.

Chocolate fest

Ever dream of a chocolate buffet, where you can indulge in every single form of chocolate dessert? Well, that dream is a reality at the Chocolate Festival! From bonbons to cakes, truffles and puddings - there is an endless myriad of treats to devour. During the festival, live outdoor concerts will take the stage at Town Square Gazebo. Grab a lawn chair, and a drink, and spend the evening watching the sunset over Corcoran Pond.

Ugotta Regatta

Originally, Ugotta Regatta began as a drinking game Tom Corcoran played. After one too many adult beverages, teams would assemble boats out of cardboard boxes and duct tape. Once the boats were assembled, they would test their craftsmanship by racing their makeshift vessels across the Pond. These days, the Ugotta Regatta is a Family Favorite - as families of all ages race across Corcoran Pond, competing to have their name etched in history on the base of the highly coveted Ugotta Regatta golden trophy! Participation fee is $15 per team.

 End of Summer Bash

The End of Summer Bash is an annual favorite, where locals, residents, and visitors celebrate the start of foliage season! Join the frivolity of the annual rubber duck race - where families of all ages race rubber ducks across Corcoran Pond with the help of some high-pressure hoses from the Waterville Valley Fire Department. Every participant is given a numbered duck prior to the start of the race. That way, we can award fabulous prizes to the top 3 winning ducks! You can also compete in some beach games, or simply enjoy the free outdoor concerts. The evening will be wrapped up with a firework display over Corcoran Pond.
