Cascades on Snow’s Mountain

When you make your way up Snow’s Mountain, you can find several picturesque waterfalls and swimming holes, with incredible views of Mount Tecumseh and the deep and breathtaking landscape of the White Mountains.

You can rent a bike from the Adventure Center and take the ride up Snow’s Mountain Chairlift for easy access, or follow Cascade Path from the Snow’s Mountain parking lot. If you choose to ride Snow’s Mountain Chairlift, the first cascades are only a half a mile from the top of the lift! Regardless of how you get there, the cascades are the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day.

Smart’s Brook and Rt. 49

Before you make it to the end of the road, Route 49 has several easily accessible swimming spots along the way. Some of the best swimming spots are hidden just off the road along the Mad River, and if you are seeking a journey to a waterfall, check out Smart’s Brook swimming hole. The out-and-back trail is a perfect adventure for all ages. Start from the parking lot on your left when you exit the Valley. The trailhead leads you into an easy hike with limited elevation gain and a 2 mile round trip route. You will find a refreshing swimming hole with beautiful waterfalls, creating the ideal relaxing afternoon.

Corcoran Pond

Easily accessible from Town Square, Corcoran Pond beach offers a convenient spot for families to enjoy the Waterville Valley views while cooling off in the water, renting a pedal-boat, paddle board, or kayak, or simply lounging on the beach and taking it all in.

White Mountain Athletic Club

The White Mountain Athletic Club is one of the Valley’s top destinations for unforgettable family summer fun. Enjoy a variety of outdoor amenities, including a 1,600 square-foot splash pad, a 25-meter pool, and family play areas. Looking for more action? Dive into basketball and volleyball games right in the pool, or enjoy a match on the beach volleyball court.
