Town-Wide Winter Weekend Shuttle Service Restored Thanks to WVBA Contributions
Waterville Valley Resort and the nonprofit Waterville Valley Business Association have reached an agreement that will bring back most of the Valley's traditional community shuttle service for the 2026/2027 winter season.
Waterville Valley Business Association, a unified organization of Waterville Valley businesses and nonprofits, has generously committed to contributing the necessary funds to broaden the community transportation system operated by Waterville Valley Resort. The contribution will restore the town-wide routes on winter weekends starting November 28, 2026, through April 11, 2027, and during designated holiday periods (including December 28, 2026, to January 1, 2027; January 18, 2027, February 16 to 19, 2027). Waterville Valley Business Association is making the one-time contribution from its reserves to help preserve a service that benefits the Valley's residents, businesses, and guests.
"We know how much residents and visitors value the shuttle, and we are grateful to Waterville Valley Business Association for stepping in," said Tim Smith, President and General Manager of Waterville Valley Resort. "This contribution brings back most of the familiar winter service, which is good news for the whole Valley."
Waterville Valley Business Association President Tom Gross said, “Waterville Valley Resort’s shuttle service is an important and convenient service for our guests and owners. This contribution supports the Business Association’s mission of promoting the best interests of our businesses and community.”
2026/27 winter shuttle maps and schedules will be produced and published on Waterville Valley Resort's Parking and Shuttle webpage by mid-November. Stay tuned for the full shuttle schedule update, and think snow!
