I’d like to apologize for the abundant optimism about Saturday’s conditions that didn’t fully materialize. My therapist suggested I try more of it, but I’m not sure it’s for me. We were still able to whip the trails into decent shape, but the freeze up was a bit more extensive than expected after the wet Friday evening.

Thankfully we have frozen precipitation headed our way Saturday night and through the day on Sunday. We should be able to open additional trails on the North End with a groom on Sunday morning. If we see at least 2-3” then we’ll also bring a cat down to the South End to link things up via Swan’s Way. I would expect some level of snow on top of the groom but we’ll do our best to groom after the majority of the snow is on the ground.
