Storm Day 1/26/26

By first light we might have double digit snow out on the trails. It is extremely exciting to have this kind of storm on top of an already stellar base of snow. The grooming staff will have a couple of long days ahead of them packing in all this new snow. We will start the snow compaction process Monday morning on both ends of the trail system with our two snow cats. We will just be packing, it will not be possible to start laying corduroy or setting any classic track until we can knock the air out of the snow and compress it. That being said, the trails will be infinitely skiable and lots of fun. Stay tuned for storm total updates. My money is on 14” but I’d be happy to be wrong and see 16” instead.
