Another cold one for us on Friday. The snow is really starting to set up nicely after that massive storm at the start of the week. With trails seeing limited traffic on Thursday, we’ll touch up Deep Woods, Greeley Path, Connector, Livermore, and Lower Snows on the North End. We’ll also come down Swan’s Way to town and clean up all of the South End trails. So bundle up and get your laps in out of the Nordic Center.

Another reminder about the NH Series Race on Saturday 1/31. The South End will be closed to the public, but the North End will remain open to public skiing and be largely unaffected by the race. We will also leave Village - Inner Mad River - Swan’s Way open so you can still connect North to South. The race organizers are still looking for some course monitors who can ski out to designated spots on the race course. If your skis are struggling with glide in these cold temps, stop by for a hot wax with some cold weather wax. Cold snow and sharp crystals are very abrasive and require extra hard glide wax to help you maximize your fun out there.
