Big News for the Valley: Ski Fanatics Joins Waterville Valley Resort

John Gallagher — owner of Ski Fanatics and a longtime leader in Valley ski retail — is officially joining the Waterville Valley Resort team as our new Retail & Rentals Manager.
If you’ve spent any time in the Valley, you know John. For years, he has built Ski Fanatics into a trusted name for expert boot fitting, quality gear, seasonal rentals, and knowledgeable service. His reputation is rooted in experience, passion for skiing, and a genuine commitment to helping people get the most out of their time on snow.
Now, we’re bringing that expertise directly into the Waterville Valley family.

A NEW CHAPTER FOR RETAIL AT WATERVILLE
In his new role, John will oversee all retail outlets and rental operations across the resort. He’ll lead merchandising strategy, inventory planning, rental fleet oversight, and team development — all with a focus on driving revenue, strengthening operations, and most importantly, enhancing the guest experience.
His deep industry knowledge and long-standing ties to the Valley make him the perfect person to guide this next chapter.
