Winter is far from over at Waterville Valley Resort, and the rest of the ski season is packed with events that give you even more reasons to get on the mountain. From night skiing and après parties to family-friendly fun and skill-building clinics, there’s something happening every week to keep the vibes high all the way through spring. Here’s what’s coming up and why you won’t want to miss it!

Weekly Events

College Night – Thursdays Through March 12

Classes done? Head to the slopes. We’re hosting College Night every Thursday from 4–8pm, January 29 through March 12, bringing night skiing, unbeatable deals, and après vibes. Whether you’re carving under the lights or hanging out après, Thursday nights at Waterville Valley are where the weekend starts early.

College Night Includes:

  • $20 Night Skiing Lift Tickets for ages 18–29 or anyone with a valid college ID

  • $26 Rental Package with lift ticket included—easy, affordable, and stress-free

  • Après specials featuring $10 tacos or quesadillas, $5 PBRs and Narragansett, plus our featured cocktail, Park Boy Punch

Friday Family Fun Night — Fridays Through March 6

Looking for a fun, way to kick off your Valley weekend with the whole family? Friday Family Fun Night is all about laughter, games, and spending more quality time on the mountain.

With activities tailored for ages 10 & under and 11+, everyone gets in on the fun—and participation is completely free. Want to add skiing to the mix? Enjoy night skiing for just $25 per ticket and keep the excitement going after dark. Not to mention, we also have Night Skiing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 4-8pm

NIGHT SKIING

Alpine Touring and Nordic Clinics

Ready to try something new this winter? Our Intro to Alpine Touring clinic is a welcoming, lesson-based experience designed for those who are new to uphill travel or looking to build a solid foundation.

These small-group clinics focus on:

  • Efficient uphill technique

  • Proper equipment use

  • Building confidence in a supportive environment

We also offer Women’s Uphill & Nordic Clinics, creating an encouraging, community-focused space for women to develop skills, gain confidence, and explore uphill and Nordic skiing at their own pace!

B4BC Weekend — February 7th & 8th

Boarding for Breast Cancer Weekend is back at Waterville Valley Resort, and we’re proud to continue a tradition that has raised over $75,000 in the last 16 years. Boarding 4 Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a youth-focused nonprofit dedicated to breast cancer education, early detection awareness, and promoting the value of an active lifestyle.

All weekend long, the mountain will be buzzing with special activities and fundraising events, including:

  • Pink Drink Specials in the Freestyle Lounge

  • $2 Limited Edition Stickers

  • $50 Limited Edition Sweatshirts

  • Annual Raffle featuring prizes donated by Burton, O’Neill, Rome Snowboards, Volcom, and more

  • Tie-Dye Stations with custom B4BC x Waterville Valley Resort tees

  • Pink Poker Run

  • Tribute Rides

Neon Night — Saturday, February 14th

Get ready to light up the night like never before. Neon Night is taking over Waterville Valley for one electrifying evening under the stars. We’re transforming the Exhibition ski trail and the Freestyle Lounge into a glowing neon wonderland—so break out your brightest gear and get ready to shine.

That same night, we will have Fireworks in Town Square at 7pm sharp!

Skijore Galore — Sunday, February 15th

Skijor Galore is returning to the Waterville Valley Golf Course, and it’s one of the most exciting (and unique!) events of the season. Watch as skiers get pulled by horses and race across the course in this thrilling winter tradition.

The best part? The event is free for spectators, so bundle up, bring your crew, and cheer on the action.

Last Run Lu’au & Pond Skim — Saturday, April 4th

The Last Run Lu’au & Pond Skim is back at Waterville Valley on April 4, and it’s such a fun way to send off the winter season. Race across the green lagoon—will you survive the skim? Whether you make it across or take a splash, it’s all part of the fun. Spectators are encouraged, but be prepared to be in the splash zone!
