Banquet Server

The Waterville Valley Resort Conference Center is currently seeking full-time and part-time Banquet Servers for breakfast and lunch, dinner, and weddings. Responsibilities include providing excellent table and banquet line service through setting tables, serving food, stocking stations with supplies, monitoring tables to assure all guest needs and requests are met, and clear and clean tables. Flexible schedules (3 shifts); have excellent customer service skills; be able to work as a team, and flexibility to perform necessary tasks at banquet operations. Wait Staff

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking full-time and part-time wait-staff. Responsibilities include providing excellent service through setting tables, serving food, stocking stations with supplies, monitoring tables to assure all guest needs and requests are met, and clear and clean tables. Line & Prep Cooks

The Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking a part-time, seasonal line and prep cooks.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting in food preparation tasks usually for large groups of guests, ensuring all food is maintained at the proper temperature for serving throughout meals, performing duties in a timely and efficient manner, assuring health and safety by learning and following established health and safety procedures, and monitoring food service area for cleanliness.  Requirements are high school diploma, able to contribute to team effort, ability to follow directions and work without constant supervision, good skills in food handling and preparation.  Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Waterville Valley Resort is seeking a seasonal Groomer for the upcoming winter season. Requirements include: a valid driver’s license; able to operate with precision a Prinoth Alpine Groomers.  Must be able to work flexible hours including late nights and early mornings. Bus Drivers

 

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking drivers who are CDL B commercial licensed.  Responsibilities include transporting guests and equipment to and from the Valley, parking areas, and base lodge; serve guests by driving safely, greeting all guests; helping passengers load and unload as needed; keeping informed of resort information; providing friendly and accurate information; offering assistance to unescorted children and others with special needs; cleaning vehicles;  assuring safety and dependability of vehicles by inspecting for safety regularly; assisting with mechanical maintenance; communicating and cooperating with Vehicle Maintenance department.  Requirements include High School Diploma, CDL B commercial license with passenger and air brake endorsements.  Must have a clean driving record and expertise driving in adverse weather and road conditions.  Must have good communication skills and ability to work well with others.  Weekends and holidays a must.

Bruce The Moose Mascot

BRUCE THE MOOSE” AND MOOSE HANDLER

WVR is looking for the perfect character to perform as “Bruce the Moose” mascot at the Resort and community events; create goodwill and whimsical entertainment by adding a distinctive personality to Waterville Valley Resort.  Approximately 16-20 hours per week in season, volume dependent.  Responsibilities include: help develop the character and personality of the Resort’s mascot by creating routines for promotional entertainment in a manner deemed acceptable and appropriate for guests and children.  Interchange from the Bruce the Moose character to Moose Handler; providing support, security, guidance and verbal communicator for the Mascot.  Ushers Bruce the Moose between venues and safe-haven back-of-house.  Articulates Bruce the Moose’s non-verbal queues while performing in character; ensuring clear intent of Bruce’s gestures and motions to guests, providing crowd control, safety and security of the mascot.  Requirements: experience in performing arts helpful.   Ability to ski or ride at an intermediate-level or above is highly desirable.  Must be able to work and fit in costume and have physical dexterity to withstand weight, confined dimension/space and interior climate of suit.  Must be willing to represent Waterville Valley Resort both on and off property in direct engagement and/or through supported media such as social media, advertising, collateral or other marketing and/or business modes and be able to support core values in a positive manner on and off property.  Must be outgoing and have a creative personality with a willingness and desire to have fun with all levels of children and adults.  Must have willingness to perform wacky, whimsical, spirited and entertaining promotional activities both in and outdoors and in variable weather conditions.  Has the ability to analyze and interpret common social expressions and client needs and wants, troubleshoot, process and react to situations without delay. Must be able to work weekends and holiday weeks. Building and Grounds Maintenance

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking a full-time, year round building and grounds maintenance person.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; assist with construction and maintenance of buildings and structures; participate in projects and cleanliness of facilities and grounds; protect safety and comfort of guests.  Requirements include being able to contribute to a team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility as a team member for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintaining a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.  Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and heating a plus.  Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
