Conference Center

Banquet Server

The Waterville Valley Resort Conference Center is currently seeking full-time and part-time Banquet Servers for breakfast and lunch, dinner, and weddings. Responsibilities include providing excellent table and banquet line service through setting tables, serving food, stocking stations with supplies, monitoring tables to assure all guest needs and requests are met, and clear and clean tables. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervising and training line cooks, prep cooks, and stewards; overseeing and participating in preparation of basic foods and meals; watching for efficiencies; recording inventory; helping order supplies.  Requirements include: high school diploma with some culinary education; supervisory and inventory experience; 3 – 5 years professional cooking experience. Housekeeper

Rental Technician

Rental Cashier

We are currently seeking cashiers to work in ski and snowboard rental shop for the 2017 – 2018 season.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: renting skis, snowboards, boots, helmets and poles, cash handling and accurately balancing all transactions, assist with issuing of ski and snowboard equipment to guests according to technical specifications, collecting equipment from guests at the end of the day; offering information and answering questions regarding rates, packages, lifts, and lessons. CHILD CARE SUPERVISOR

The Snowsports Department is currently seeking a Child Care Supervisor.  The responsibilities include developing and implementing an operational plan for the Resort’s Child Care Center through planning of program and activities, schedules, staffing, use of space and supplies, rates registration procedures and marketing prior to season.  Set policies and procedures for care, safety and comfort of children; organizing system for receiving, storing, using and returning all personal belongings of children.  Oversee and participate in welcoming and check in of guests.  Motivates staff by hiring, training, and supervising employees; serving as a leader and role model.  Assures health and safety of children and staff by developing and implementing health and safety procedures.  Early childhood or elementary education and some human development and behavioral credits along with advanced first aid training are a plus.  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in child care center or similar setting and 1 year supervisory experience.  Excellent skills in caring for children and teaching others, communicating with children and parents.  Good management and organizational skills. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.  Must be able to lift children and be physically active with children. SEASON PASS/ TICKET ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR    

We are currently seeking a full time, seasonal position as the Season Pass/ Ticket Assistant Supervisor.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assuring quality service to all mountain guests by training and managing qualified employees in the season pass/ ticket department, overseeing daily operations of the season pass/ticket office, procedures, and monitoring staff, handling guest inquiries and complaints, overseeing opening and closing of the office.  Requirements are a high school diploma, experience with cash and cash receipts, good computer and telecommunication skills. Resort/ hospitality experience preferred.  Must be available to work weekends and holidays.  Must demonstrate strong communication, leadership skills.
