Storm Watch Update

Wednesday night we picked up 3-4” on the North End, which will serve as a nice table setting for what’s coming this weekend. Early Saturday morning the next storm should kick off, with heavy snowfall expected through mid-afternoon. It’s possible we begin packing trails as early as Saturday morning, but a lot will depend on how much mixed precipitation is expected later in the day. We might be better served to let the new snow stack up and then start our grooming on Saturday night. Either way there should be skiable trails available on Saturday and groomed trails for Sunday. We will have to be a little cautious and slow moving since some trails were completely bare prior to this week’s snow.

If we get the upper end of the 6-14” predicted then we should be able to get quite a few trails open.

Thanks for using your birthday wishes for more snow!

Ian
