Storm Watch

The storm is close enough now that I feel comfortable we won’t scare it away by talking about it. Early Sunday morning we’ll head out to start assessing trails and begin packing/grooming on the North End. We will probably focus our efforts on the Tripoli Rd side of the system as it retained the most base through last week’s warmth. Ungroomed trails on the Livermore Rd side may become skiable once the accumulation provides enough of a cushion, just remember that we had some bare spots present prior to this storm. It’s likely that we start our work on snowmobiles and wait until Sunday night to graduate to larger equipment once the temperatures drop. All of these well-laid plans are of course subject to change at any point depending on how mother natures treats us in the next 24-hours.

The much anticipated sale of used classic rental skis and boots has begun. So if you need a pair of rock skis, extra for friends, or are just starting out and want to ease your way into the sport they are a great budget-friendly option for getting out on the trails. Quantity is limited so don’t delay.

Cheers,

Ian
