Friday

The storm has delivered somewhere in the neighborhood of a foot of snow as of Thursday afternoon. More snow is expected overnight and throughout the day on Friday. We have already been able to pack most of the North End and will lay down a groom either overnight or Friday morning depending on how much more snow we see coming. We’ll also spend some time Friday morning working on getting Swan’s Way reopened to connect the North End to South End for the weekend.

We did see quite a few down trees and debris from this storm. The trees have been removed as we come across them and the debris should continue to improve with each groom. I consider stick flicking while skiing a bonus agility drill, feel free to join in.

It should be an awesome weekend of skiing so make sure you get up here. The writing on the wall is that it could be our last weekend with groomed trails, given the current forecast for next week. With all the ups and downs this season, it’s great to be going out skiing amazing conditions in April!

See you out there,

Ian
