WATERVILLE VALLEY, NH, December 26th, 2016 – With the holiday season in full swing, Waterville Valley Resort has a full slate of events and activities to delight guests during the holiday vacation, with fun for kids and adults of all ages.
On December 27th, Waterville Valley Resort’s mascot, Bruce the Moose, will throw his annual Birthday Bash, featuring cupcakes for guests and a mountain wide scavenger hunt.
December 28th is a day to mark on calendars. Waterville Valley will host Starry Nights, one of New Hampshire’s most unique dining experiences and Waterville Valley Resort’s signature event. Guests ride up the Valley Run Quad under the stars and ski or ride their way to the Sunnyside Timberlodge. After a gourmet dinner and delightful entertainment, guests will ski or ride their way down Valley Run in a torchlight parade.
On December 30th all guests are invited to join The Nordic Season Passholder Party. This is an annual event where cross country fans can get season updates and forecasts, participate in a ski waxing clinic, and check out all of the special promotions. Drinks and food will be served, and friendly atmosphere is guaranteed.
On December 31st the 50th Anniversary of Waterville Valley Resort celebration kicks off with the first event devoted to the 60’s: The Early Years. The 60’s Sweater Contest is a part of the après party in-style which starts at 4pm at T-Bars. All participants receive a Buy One Get One Lift Ticket.
All of these events take place among regular winter activities. Guests can enjoy tubing, dogsled and sleigh rides, and fireworks over the Corcoran Pond on New Year’s Eve at 7.30pm. Waterville has also extended their Saturday après this season to 6pm. In addition to live entertainment, après at Buckets will also include a movie for kids and drink specials.
