We picked up some unexpected snow Wednesday morning that has really freshened things up out there. The North End will be fully groomed Thursday morning except for Tripoli Road which will be a last minute call, but will still be skiing well with minimal traffic. It should be an absolutely perfect ski day out there.
We’ll hit the South End with the snowmobile and start prepping more terrain with the dam construction wrapping up next week.
I took a tour of some outer South End trails today and we still need a little more snow for most trails. Unfortunately the early snow we’ve gotten didn’t allow the groundwater to freeze up solid before being insulated by the snow. We’re still light years ahead of where we normally are at this point and one more good storm could really put us over the top.
