It's true. It's a cold winter morning, and the snow just keeps getting better. Our "chance of mid-day flurries" yesterday turned out to be light snow that fell all day and we picked up a couple more inches.
This morning all trails are open and groomed (for those of you holding out for Upper Criterion, it's coming--we'll be working on it today and you just may be skiing it tomorrow!).
The North End trails will be a bit more firm than South End, so if you're skating, expect to see a bit of a difference first thing this morning. All should really be great for classic and skating though.
Another day that it's a bit soft for fat biking. If this changes, we'll open up trails for the afternoon.
See you up here,
Notes and Events:
Freeman Friday race is on for tonight at 4pm. This $5 race is a fun way to get a little race practice in and we do the same course every week so you can watch your progress through the season.
Tomorrow is our weekly Nordic Kids: 9:00 for skate skiing, 10:00 for Intermediate Classic and 11:15 for Beginners. Lessons are 45mins-1hr and are followed by hot cocoa. It's a great time for kids who want to play and ski with peers.
Our full moon ski and snowshoe have filled up for the 11th, so sign up now for our March tour! This month's Women's Clinic will also fill up quick, so give us a call or email if you're interested.
Our Mid-Winter sale continues with all Salomon and Atomic classic skin skis 30% off, plenty of skiing left this season, why not do it on a new pair of skis? Swix clothing closeouts remain at 35% off and through Feb 17th, all Nordic Season Passholders can purchase Swix clothing at 25% off!
