Mid-Week Outlook

The weather is always the thing, right? This morning will be the last great skating day until the weekend. Tomorrow warm temps are headed our way and between those and the precipitation, we will not be bringing machines out on the trails. Depending on how soft conditions get, we may ask that people not ski--as in watch for trail closures.

Today all trails are skiing great on yesterday's groom. The Cat will be on the South End preping remaining closed trails for opening in a few days.

Fat bikes are fine on designated trails today, but again we expect it to be too soft the rest of the week (should be all ok by the weekend)

Please call us with any questions.

See you up here,

Notes and Events:

In case you haven't heard, we have a "Lesson to Season Pass" promotion on this season. Purchase and complete 5 lessons and you earn a complementary Nordic Season Pass. This is a great way to take on a new sport. If you're already a skier, take 5 private lessons, bump up your skills and get a pass to boot!

And, the first of our annual Women's Clinics is scheduled for the following Saturday 1/14 9-4:30. This is a great way to get started with the sport or work with our advanced instructors to improve your technique. Grab a friend and spend the day with us. Two on-snow clinics are followed by yoga and a "Wine and Wax" clinic. Second Annual Swix Trunk Sale. Call to pre-register and reserve your place.

Also on 1/14 is Kris Freeman's Advanced Skate Clinic 10:00-11:30. These clinics are for intermediate and up. You don't have to keep up with Kris, but you do need to be able to ski. His clinics are a fantastic place to learn what Kris does and what you can do to move better and faster.

1/14 Salomon, Atomic and Fischer Ski Demo 9-3pm. Try before you buy. Try just because new skis are fun.
