Fall has officially arrived in Waterville Valley! The leaves are starting to really pop with color and we’ve even seen our first frost of the year. Before we know it snow flakes will be flying!
The cooler days has made for perfect hiking and biking conditions and the weather has been dry, so trails should be in great shape. This weekend is forecasted to be a beautiful with sunny skies and temperatures in the low-70s/mid-60s during the day. WEEKEND EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
We have a weekend full of events in store for the weekend! On Saturday morning we’ll have vintage hot rods rolling into Town Square for the 8th Annual Rally in the Valley presented by the East Coast Camaro Club followed by our 20th Annual Chili Challenge & Brews. Any car can enter the car show by registering at the gate at 9am with a $10 donation. Tasting tickets for the Chili Challenge can be purchased in Town Square for $7.50 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite chili vendor!
On Sunday we’ll have some the best trail runners in the world on the mountain for the U.S. Mountain Running Championships. Competitors will race up the ski area on a 7 mile course with 3,000 feet of elevation gain. Come watch the competition and cheer on the runners in the base area! The race will kick off at 8:30am with women and 10am with men.
As usual, we’ll have our full lineup of activities at the Adventure Center. Hit the trails on a mountain bike, play a round of disc golf, or take the lift up Snow’s Mountain and enjoy the views. If you’re looking for a more unique Waterville Valley experience, take a Onewheel or ResortBoard tour.
