It is nearly July here at Waterville Valley and I think after a long rainy season we can say it is finally summer. The temperatures have slowly been rising and rainy days are being replaced by sunshine. Trails across the valley are no longer soggy and beautiful blue sky days are perfect for getting outdoors. Keep in mind if you head out the day after a thunderstorm or rain showers there could be some wet spots, but rivers and waterfalls will be especially beautiful.
Biking has been great with all of our trails now cleared and open for the summer. Some current trail highlights are Upper Snow’s to Lower Snow’s Mountain Trails for beginners and Elephant Rock for experts. If you have any mechanical issues while you’re out there riding be sure to bring your bike in to our Adventure Center bike shop so our expert mechanic can take a look and get you back on the hill.
