The Valley Pub & Grill
Town Square will soon be welcoming the Valley Pub & Grill as the latest spot for dinner & drinks at Waterville Valley Resort. The new owner, Chef Michael “Woody” Woodman, takes over the space previously occupied by The Lantern and will be re-opening at the start of the 2014/15 winter season.
After years of serving in a number of roles throughout the Valley, Woody is excited to have a place he can call his own. “I’ve been around here for a few years and I’ve been able to see how visitors experience dining here in the Valley,” Woody said. “I want to be able to provide them with my own style of family friendly pub fare, made with as much fresh and local product as possible. I’ll have 100% grass fed beef from Pineland Farms Natural Meats in Maine, fresh haddock from New Hampshire’s seacoast, and fresh produce from Black River, Vermont.”
Woody will also be transforming the bar area into a lounge featuring a pool table and other amenities. “It’s going to be a great place to bring your family when you come off the slopes and even better to have a few drinks late at night.” The Valley Pub & Grill will have its Grand Opening on Friday, November 28, 2014.
