Waterville Valley, NH, January 4, 2017 – Waterville Valley Resort will be hosting The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association’s (USSA) Toyota Revolution Tour (the Rev Tour) January 8-13, 2017. After a five-year hiatus, the Rev Tour will return to the East Coast for slopestyle competitions for freeskiing and snowboarding in the Waterville Valley Resort Exhibition Park. The competition’s international field includes athletes from the United States, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and Great Britain.

Waterville Valley Resort is proud to add the Toyota Revolution Tour to its history of hosting premier skiing and snowboarding events. This season Waterville Valley Resort is honored to be the only destination in New England to host the Rev Tour since 2012.

Established in 2004 the Toyota Revolution Tour is the premier series of progressive events for top junior riders. Focused towards 13-19 year-old athletes, the Rev Tour is designed to serve as a stepping stone from the grassroots to the elite level. Top winners may earn an invite to be part of the U.S. Grand Prix, Junior Worlds, USASA Nationals, and participate in Project Gold camps.

January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month

Waterville Valley Resort is celebrating Learn to Ski & Snowboard month this January by offering a $39 package for beginners that includes a lower mountain lift ticket, a 2hr group lesson, and rentals for downhill skiing and riding. Lessons are available for ages 7+ and begin at 10am. More Info

Nordic Skiing Clinics

This January Waterville Valley’s Adventure Center will do several great events. Jan.14 will be one of the best days: Nordic Women’s Clinic (with demos, coffee, goodies, lunch, and a yoga class) and Kris Freeman Advanced Skate Clinic (advanced techniques from 4-time Olympian). More Info
