Special January Offer of Free Rentals for College Students Too
Waterville Valley, NH, January 11, 2011… For the third straight year, Zipcar, Inc., the world's largest car-sharing service, and Waterville Valley Ski Resort have continued their partnership to offer New England skiers and snowboarders a special discount on lift tickets, rental and instruction for a more affordable way to hit the slopes. All passengers that arrive at Waterville Valley in a Zipcar will receive a $15 discount off adult or college student lift tickets for that day, as well as instruction packages to learn to ski or snowboard. Zipsters also receive a deal on ski or snowboard rentals, offered at $28 for a full day, discounted from the regular price of $41.
Zipcar and Waterville Valley will also be visiting college campuses in January 2011 with lift ticket deals for full-time college students. Students who carpool to Waterville Valley on a non-holiday weekday in a Zipcar may purchase lift tickets that day for just $30 and receive free ski or snowboard rentals. Proof of full-time status and college ID will be required.

The partnership with Waterville Valley represents a sense of freedom and adventure for the avid skier and boarder, as well as those hitting the bunny slope for the first time. Cars can be reserved for as short as an hour or for up to four days. Gas, 180 miles per day, insurance, reserved parking spots and roadside assistance are included in the hourly and daily Zipcar rates, which start as low as $7 per hour and $69 per day. Zipcar even offers a fun and functional iPhone app that will honk the horn to locate a Zipcar and unlock the doors for members.
