Junior Seasonal Programs at Waterville Valley

Snowsports School Junior Seasonal Programs 2010-2011

Our Junior Seasonal Programs offer instruction for 15 weekends plus 2 holiday weeks. Programs are designed for kids 4 to 16 years old, who already ski or snowboard, starting at the lower intermediate level (Valley Run). We offer different programs geared toward certain age groups and within those groups, we might have different groups based on skill development and intensity level. We reserve the right to combine groups when needed. Kids meet at the Jr. Seasonal Building by Lower Meadows chairlift. Regular attendance is the best way to keep all members in a group progressing at similar rates and to keep existing groups cohesive. Parents must sign a waiver on their first day of the program. Simple lunches are available for $7 per day for Lil' Grits and True Grits.

Lil' Grits Program Full Day $1070 Half Day $970

For kids 4+5 years old. Skier development, mountain awareness and lots of indoor and outdoor fun! Must be able to ski lower intermediate terrain on their own (i.e. Valley Run).

True Grits Program Full Day $1050 Half Day $950

For kids 6-12 years old. Designed for skiers and riders. Plenty of snow time that emphasizes solid technique and safety. Multiple groups will be formed on the basis of age, ability & intensity.

Teen Group Full Day $950 Half Day $850

Outdoor Program for 13-16 year olds. Should be able to ski or ride Waterville Valley black diamond terrain. Skiers and riders are together in a social atmosphere with all of their time on snow. (*Teen group does not meet Feb. 22-25, 2011)

Mitey Mites (Pre-competitive program)

Pre-competitive program designed for boys and girls 5-9. Run jointly by WV Snowsports and WVBBTS Programs. For information on fees, club membership and dates go to wvbbts.org. To contact call (603) 236-8601 or e-mail: info@wvbbts.org. Meets at the WVBBTS Building.
