Learn to Ski/Ride Program

The Learn to Ski / Ride program is about welcoming brand new skiers and riders to our sports with excellent values and a WV Love to Ski or Ride Pass full of great values when you complete the program.

How does it work? What do I get?

a. Purchase a learn to ski or ride package in our Top Dog rental shop. Your LTS/R package will include equipment, one two-hour lesson and a learning area lift ticket for $80. During your beginner lesson your instructor will issue you a WV Learn to Ski/Ride Pocket Guide. Make sure your instructor has printed their name and date in the day 1 lesson to authorize you for a discounted package on your next visits. Fill in your name and information.

b. On your next visit, show your authorized Pocket Guide to the Top Dog rental shop to receive a discounted package that includes equipment, one two-hour lesson and a lower mountain lift ticket for $80. PLUS you will receive a special gift for your second day experience.

c. Have your instructor print their name and date in the day two lesson to authorize your discount for your third visit.

d. On your third visit show your authorized Pocket Guide to the Top Dog rental shop to receive another discounted package that includes equipment, one two-hour lesson and a lower mountain lift ticket for $80. Plus you will get a voucher for a FREE set of Anon Helix Goggles through the Sport Thoma** ski shop at WV! These goggles retail for $50 and are a valuable part of your winter protective gear.

e. Have your instructor print their name and date in the day three lesson to finalize your Guidebook. Then you can bring your authorized Guidebook to our Season Pass office, and receive your free WV Love to Ski/Ride Pass. Your card is good any day for the rest of the 09-10 Season for 50% off all day rentals, all day all mountain lift tickets and group lessons.
