Kids' Venture Kamps

Our Kids Venture Kamps make skiing and snowboarding fun for all ability levels, ages 3-12.

Kamps are conveniently located in the base lodge and include lessons, rentals, and lunch. (A snack is also provided for Mogul Mites.) Our staff fits all Explorers and Scouts with boots, helmets, and skis or Burton snowboards. For extra fun, Kids Kamps head into our kid-sized WV Zones, and earn special pins! Reservations are recommended and can be made online and by calling 1-800-GO-VALLEY.

All Kids Venture Kamps programs are located conveniently in the Base Lodge and have their own special Kids Kamps rental facility that takes the hassle out of getting rental gear.

Explorers (Ages 4-6)

Explorers offer a morning and/or afternoon lesson, lunch, and snacks*. Includes lift ticket; rental equipment is $20.00.
Full Day: 8:30-3:30 - $82
Half Day: 8:30 - 12:00 or 12:30 - 3:30 - $65

Scouts (Age 7-12)

Scouts offer a full day of skiing and riding enjoyment and learning. Includes lunch and snacks. Lift tickets must be purchased separately; rental equipment is $20.00.

Mogul Mites (Age 3)

Mogul Mites is a program designed to introduce 3 year olds to the fun of skiing and being outside on the mountain. It includes up to two hours of lessons (for 3 year olds who have never skied before), lunch and snacks. Children will be invited to a lesson in the morning and/or afternoon. Lift ticket is included; rental equipment is $20.00.

* Any Kids Kamper with allergies should notify the staff upon arrival, and bring personal snacks and food.

Ski Rentals for Kids Venture Kamps

Rentals for Kamp participants are at the discounted rate of $20.00/day. Rental forms are available at registration, or made available to you with advanced reservation. You do not need to get rental equipment in another department. Coaches in our Kids Kamps will fit your child with their own equipment once they are enrolled in the program. No need to wait in lines!

Registration

Child Care is available until the mountain closes on April 13. Please call the Snowsports Desk at 1-8000-GOVALLEY, ext. 3136 to make reservations, which are strongly recommended.

Kid's Kamp programs are available until April 6th. Until April 6th Kid's Kamp reservations are on a limited basis and reservations are strongly recommended. Please call the Snowsports Desk at 1-800-GOVALLEY, ext. 3136 to make reservations.

You can register for all of our Kids Kamps and Child Care online. If you prefer, you can register in the Base Lodge or by calling (603) 236-8311, x 3136. Space in the programs is guaranteed exclusively through advanced reservations. Reservations are available solely for full day enrollment; all other program options are offered as space allows.

Lunches are included in the full day programs and can be made possible for half day participants. Registration times for the programs are from 8:00am (8:30am on weekdays) until 9:15 a.m. and for the afternoon programs registration occurs between 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m.. Our classes begin their outdoor activities no later than 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. All lift tickets, lessons and equipment for your children can be purchased at the sign-in desk. Please complete all registration forms in advance.

Good Things to Know

When it is extremely cold on the mountain due to temperature or wind chill, classes will take frequent breaks to prevent frostbite. Hot chocolate, while in the program, is on us!
Observe your child in his/her class from afar; don't get close enough to cause a distraction to your child and the class. Please, no parents in Kinder Park.
Reservations are strongly reccommended for all of our Kids Kamps Programs and Child Care.
Please review our cancellation policy.
Please remember that one parent must remain on the mountain when a child is in any program, or should be able to be reached by phone, in case of emergency.
For ages 7-12, we also offer 2 hr. group lessons daily, $35. These classes meet at 10am or 1:30pm & cover all levels of skiing & riding. These can be purchased at our Snowsports Desk, or if you need equipment, lesson or rental & lift packages, they are available in our rental shops. Call for details: 603-236-8311 x3136.

What to Bring for Kids Kamps

During some severe weather conditions we might require your child to have some or all of the below before we allow them out on the mountain.
