Forum's Droppin’ "F" Bombs Waterville Valley Stop

The first stop of Forum’s Droppin’ “F” Bomb series made it’s way here to Waterville Valley on Saturday February 2nd. The park layout for the contest was insane. The snow was littered with scrap metal and unexploded bombs. For some crazy reason all the snowboarders decided it would be a good idea to ride, slide and jib the bombs into the ground and that’s just what they did. We saw some amazing snowboard action on the battlefield. We started off with the famous Waterville bomb painted to perfection to match the specs drawn up by Forum. Then it was into a tabletop that had one of the new features on the deck standing straight up. We like to call it the “torpedo”. After bonking the torpedo it was a mad scramble to stay on your board through the minefield. The last feature was a stick of TNT. Which was set up going slightly up-hill withforum2 a nice smooth landing.

When it was time for lunch we supplied the “gut bombs” a.k.a burritos, complete with jalapenos, salsa and of course hot sauce. Forum supplied custom F Bomb stickers, steeze danas, chap stick and some breath mints for post “gut bomb” freshness.

The day will go down in history as one of the most earth shattering events. Like any battle where bombs are dropped there can only be one victor. Though on this day it took a team of riders to come together and win this war. In the end the casualties were high due to the assault laid down by the winners.
