Post Season 2008--Pre Season 2009
NORDIC CENTER NEWS: Olympic and World Cup nordic skier, Kris Freeman has announced he will make Waterville Valley trails his official training site for the Vancouver games just two years from now. Kris started skiing here at age 6 and has long called Waterville Valley Nordic trails home. We look forward to seeing Kris around more often.
PATROLLER POSITION: We are seeking a full time patroller for the '08-'09 season. You must be a nordic skier interested in being out and about on our superb trail system, checking conditions and talking to our guests about the great product we offer. Patrollers are also expected to act as first responders to injured guests, perform trail maintenance and grooming. We will train. Interested persons may contact Scott Smith at 603-236-8311 extension 3171.
FANTASTIC SEASON! What a great ride this has been...186 inches of snow and loads of skiers enjoying it. We particularly liked the atmosphere around the Nordic Center--it was like "me casa su casa:" We wish all our skiers and snowshoers a healthy and fun spring and summer. How about a spring resolution for next ski season. Double the number of days skied this year. Can you do it? .. yes you can.
2008-09 NORDIC SEASON PASS.... Ski next year at this year's prices. Yup, the Nordic Season Pass for the 2008-9 season will cost you the same as it did this year. Call us crazy and maybe we are all caught up in the great season we are having but we are going to hold the line. Yeah diesel has gone up etc etc., but we are relying on the fact that you will be back with us in force.
