20th Annual Chowderfest!

October 3, 2009, Starts at noon, until around 2:00 pm

Help us decide who has the best chowda! Waterville Valley area restaurants compete, in hopes of winning the coveted prize of "Best Tasting Chowder"! Guests get samples of all chowders (plenty enough to fill your belly), a beverage, and a ballot to vote for their favorite.  

CC the Huntress from the Paranormal Network will be making an appearance at the 20th annual Chowderfest - she'll be interviewing the restaurant vendors, milling with the crowds, sampling the chowder and filming all of this for her show. Plus, her show is rating number one on the Paranormal Network.

Participating restaurants this year include 2008 winner Coyote Grill plus Waterville Valley Ski Resort's Schwendi Hutte, Snowy Owl Inn, Diamonds Edge North, Legends 1291, Jugtown Sandwich Shop as well as Plymouth's Six Burner Bistro and other restaurants from neighboring towns. Please check back later for a complete listing of participating restaurants.  Cost is $7 per adult/teen or $5 per child (up to age 12). 

A free outdoor concert by folk band Folk River Run accompanies the event, from 12 to 3 pm.
