Fall Foliage Festival

Fall Foliage Festival - October 12, 2013 - October 14, 2013

Celebrate the arrival of fall with Waterville Valley’s Fall Foliage Fest over Columbus Day Weekend, October 12-14. A weekend of fun family events is planned including kids’ games, pumpkin painting, and a pie-eating contest. For those looking for a deal, there will be merchant tent sales and the annual BBTS ski and snowboard swap.  Saturday from 1 - 4pm The Chris White Band will perform from the gazebo.

On Sunday October 13, the Waterville Valley Recreation Department is hosting a 5K run/walk to benefit a local charity.  Following the run the Fall Foliage Beer Garden will kick off hosting samples of Sam Adams and Harpoon fall brews in the center of Town Square accompanied by live music and a corn hole tourney starting at noon hosted by Harpoon.  Sign up on the tourney board inside the brew tent to reserve your spot!  Promotions and giveaways throughout the event and a special gift for 21+ runners!  At 1:30pm a Stein Holding Competition will decide who is the strongest of them all!  The winner receives the official Brew Fest Stein!

From 12:30-3:30pm The Rory Scott Band will have you on your feet! The Rory Scott Band is made up of some of the best talent in New England.  From the killer fretwork of amazing guitarist Rick Risti, the amazing rhythms from Mark Battaglia, the heart felt basslines from Bob Catalano, to the rock solid beats from drummer Leonard Shea.  Rory Thurston, a New Hampshire native, is a new country entertainer who does NOT hold back! He puts every inch of energy into his performance with strong vocals and great dance moves.
