Valley Witch Festival

Valley Witch Festival - October 25, 2013 - October 26, 2013

Sweep down Route 49 for the 1st Annual Valley Witch Festival that will be held throughout the month of October in the towns of Campton, Thornton, and Waterville Valley, New Hampshire.  Local community members and businesses will be displaying custom, handmade witches at designated businesses along Route 49.

Stop by Community Guaranty Savings Bank, King Reality, Mad River Coffee House, Moriarty Property Management Services, Mad River Tavern, Woodpeckers, and the Visitor Information Center to tour the witches and cast your vote on the best witch in town!

The final boo will take place October 25 and 26 in Waterville Valley's Town Square. Weekend festivities will include dancing with Lakes Region Big Band at the Pemi Valley Annual Dinner & Masquerade Ball, foreseeing the future at the Mystical Extravaganza, and being entranced under a hypnotic spell at The Spellbound Soiree with R-Rated comedic hypnotist Frank Santos at The Lantern in Town Square.   Kids activities throughout the weekend sponsored by the Waterville Valley Recreation Department and the Town Square Merchants.

The Spellbound Soiree Featuring R-Rated Hypnotist & Comedian, Frank Santos Jr.
5pm-1am
A packed night of entertainment awaits you at The Lantern in Waterville Valley's Town Square. Doors open at 5pm and kicking off the night from 6-9pm enjoy live music from Back on the Train who return with soulful singer/songwriter Adam Ward, funky bassist John Dinger, and dynamic drummer Eben Hearn.  Original songs hit home to many Granite Staters with 'Through the Same Things' and 'Flashback' and then follows the band through South America and beyond with 'A Place of Hope' thrown in the mix of roots rock and soul classic covers.  
 
Free apps will be served from 7-8pm with the R-Rated Hypnotist and Comedian, Frank Santos Jr, taking center stage for an entrancing of hypnotic inspired laughs at 9pm.  Be amazed when you, your friends or strangers across the room become stars of the show, as Frank Santos makes them believe that they are singers, dancers and much, much more. This is a performance where the audience becomes the show. His performance has limitless variations and can please every appetite. This is a hilarious, energetic and unique show that you will never forget!
