Housekeeper

Front Desk Agent

Waterville Valley Resort’s Lodging Department is seeking part-time Front Desk Agents to provide assistance to resort guests by answering phones, making reservations and performing check-in and checkout procedures as well as other customer service related tasks.  Provide accurate information to guests by maintaining current information of all lodging prices and operations.  Respond to inquiries concerning accommodations and resort services as well as resolving guest issues.   Must possess strong customer relations, telecommunications, and computer skills.  Positions available include overnights, day shifts and swing shifts. Banquet Server

The Waterville Valley Resort Conference Center is currently seeking full-time and part-time Banquet Servers for breakfast and lunch, dinner, and weddings. Responsibilities include providing excellent table and banquet line service through setting tables, serving food, stocking stations with supplies, monitoring tables to assure all guest needs and requests are met, and clear and clean tables. Buildings, Grounds & Custodial

Building Maintenance Lead Technician - Town Square

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking a full time, year-round senior/lead building maintenance technician for our lodging and Town Square properties.  Responsibilities include maintenance, repair and construction over buildings and grounds and includes ability to perform; general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, landscaping and/or other skilled and semi-skilled trade functions.  Participates in projects and monitors accuracy and quality of completion in accordance with State and Local building codes and ordinances. Must be first and foremost safety-conscious for guests and staff.  Must have demonstrated skills in more than one trade along with experience with related tools/equipment.  Must be willing and able to contribute to a team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility as a team member for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating/leading safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintaining a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.  Ability and desire to lead small groups or work teams on projects and/or shifts (separately and/or in the absence of a supervisor).  Good communication skills and ability to work well with others. "Bruce the moose" and Handler

Waterville Valley Resort is looking for two individuals to interchange between the Resort’s mascot “Bruce the Moose” and his Handler during community events.  As an entertainer and personality of WVR, “Bruce the Moose” will engage with guests in a family friendly and outgoing manner.  This non-verbal role requires the character to have the ability to communicate through motions and signals.  The Handler will be responsible for proving support, security, and verbal communication to “Bruce the Moose” while ushering between venues and in front of guests.  The Handler will articulate the character’s non-verbal queues while performing in character; ensure clear intent of his gestures and motions to guests, provide crowd control, safety and security of the mascot.  Requirements include: Must be able to work and fit in costume and have physical dexterity to withstand weight, confined dimension/space and interior climate of suit.  Must be outgoing and have a creative personality with a willingness and desire to have fun with all levels of children and adults. Must have willingness to perform wacky, whimsical, spirited and entertaining promotional activities both in and outdoors and in variable weather conditions. The right individuals will be able to withstand cold temperatures all day while building and maintaining our features in the terrain park. Knowledge of hand tools, heavy equipment and welding a plus.
