Adventure Center

Adventure Center Attendants

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking part-time seasonal Adventure Center Attendants.  Duties include, but are not limited to: explain and assist guests of proper fitting and use of adventure center equipment; provide daily operation information to guests; maintain a clean and organized work and public area; assist with opening and closing procedures; inspect and maintain adventure center equipment daily; assist guests with purchasing of appropriate tickets.  Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age.  Must have good customer service skills and be able to work in a team environment; able to work in variable weather conditions.  Waterville Valley Resort is an “at-will” equal opportunity employer.  If interested please apply online or send a resume to Allison Gilman at agilman@waterville.com. 

Snow's Mountain Lift Operators

Waterville Valley Resort is seeking part-time and full-time lift operators for Snow’s Mountain. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with lift loading, unloading, and lift closing; checking riders for valid lift tickets; assist guests with loading themselves and equipment onto lift; attentive to special needs of children, novices, and adaptive athletes; explain procedures to inexperienced riders and slow or stop lift as needed; maintain efficient and safe lift lines; shut down lift, clear ramps and maze areas, and secure lift house and equipment at close of each day. Marketing & Sales

Graphics Designer

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking a full-time, year-round Graphic Designer.  The ideal candidate will contribute to the Resort’s Marketing program; leveraging both creativity and organizational skills to provide day to day support to the marketing department.  The position will focus on graphic design, digital initiatives, collateral production, print and online advertising design.  
 
Requirements include: Associate’s degree in Marketing, Design or related field.  1-3 years experience in design, marketing, and digital graphics; savvy with social networks and emerging digital graphics; ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.  Knowledge of web hosting and online administrative navigation a plus.  Basic website design/management is preferred.  Experience with photography, videography and FinalCut are preferred.  Must be creative, be a proactive problem-solver, able to work in fast paced, dynamic environment, and work as a cooperative team player. Must have a complete understanding of Mac platform and all Mac-based software applications (specifically Adobe Creative Suite CS5- Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign); solid understanding of image formats (EPS, TIF, GIF, JPEG, PDF); understanding of graphic compression tools and their use required; basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint); working knowledge of four-color printing process, digital production, and pre-press delivery formats.  If interested please apply online at www.waterville.com  or send a resume to Allison Gilman at agilman@waterville.com.

Housekeeper

Laundry Room Attendant

Waterville Valley Resort, New Hampshire’s Family Resort, is seeking a part-time laundry attendant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: stripping linens from rooms, sorting, washing, drying, folding and stocking all linens for the resort. Waterville Valley Resort’s Lodging Department is seeking a full-time year round Reservations Agent to provide assistance to resort guests by answering phones, making reservations and other customer service related tasks.  Provide accurate information to guests by maintaining current information of all lodging prices and operations.  Respond to inquiries concerning accommodations and resort services and activities.  Ideal candidates may be cross-trained as front desk agent for assistance with hotel/condo check ins/check outs and guest service. Banquet Set-Up

Waterville Valley Resort’s Conference Center is seeking banquet set-up crew to set up for group functions, including chairs, tables, stage, and audio- visual equipment; break down after functions, store furniture and equipment after functions; assist with clean up and light maintenance projects to ensure that building and grounds are clean and ready to receive guests. Assist kitchen and wait staff when needed; communicate with guests about set-up; respond with flexibility and helpfulness to changes in plans. Sous Chef

Waterville Valley Resort is seeking a full-time sous chef. Duties include, but are not limited to: assuring excellence of cooking by supervising and assisting in the cooking of a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktail party foods, usually for large groups of guests; performing and training staff in basic food preparation; assisting the Executive Chef to monitor all food for quality of taste, texture and appearance and to serve food within time constraints. Coordinate food service by working with sales staff, conference and banquet coordinators and other conference center personnel to plan menus and service to meet guests needs; coordinate timing of food leaving the kitchen with banquet program schedules and multiple functions in the building; ensure that all foods are maintained at the proper temperature for serving throughout meals; monitor and assist in plating items in appealing manner and checking to be certain that all orders are complete before leaving kitchen. Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking a full-time, year-round vehicle and equipment mechanic. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; providing vehicle maintenance services by inspecting, maintaining and repairing all vehicles and equipment assigned to vehicle maintenance department, including but not limited to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, bulldozers, loaders, trucks, buses, backhoes and other heavy equipment, and all component parts. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate notes and records of inspections and maintenance of all vehicles. One to three years of mechanic experience preferred. Building & Ground Maintenance
Town Square

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking a part-time or full-time building and grounds maintenance person.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; assist with maintenance of grounds, interior and exterior of buildings at Town Square and other managed properties such as Snow Star Inn and other areas of resort; participate in cleanliness of facilities and grounds, assure safety and comfort of guests through proper upkeep, maintenance and light-duty repair, installation and removal of structures, surfaces, fixtures, appliances, furnishings, and other similar items.  Requirements include being able to contribute to a team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility as a team member for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintaining a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.  Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and heating a plus.  Good communication skills and ability to work well with others. Building Maintenance Lead Technician - Town Square

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking a full time, year-round senior/lead building maintenance technician for our lodging and Town Square properties.  Responsibilities include maintenance, repair and construction over buildings and grounds and includes ability to perform; general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, landscaping and/or other skilled and semi-skilled trade functions.  Participates in projects and monitors accuracy and quality of completion in accordance with State and Local building codes and ordinances. Must be first and foremost safety-conscious for guests and staff.  Must have demonstrated skills in more than one trade along with experience with related tools/equipment.  Must be willing and able to contribute to a team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility as a team member for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating/leading safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintaining a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.  Ability and desire to lead small groups or work teams on projects and/or shifts (separately and/or in the absence of a supervisor).  Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
