Temps and conditions keep cycling through--we're going to have a few days of cold temps and firm skiing.
Conditions are variable: loose granular, frozen granular, areas of thin cover on trails like Lower Snows and Swazeytown and some great skiing between it all. The cat was on all the North End overnight and will be on the South End some this morning, seeing what can be made of the core trails.
Afternoon Update: trails are fantastic, for real!
And, I have events listed below, but there's some that shouldn't be missed: Paintball Biathlon on the 11th & 12th (ski, shoot at targets with the paintball gun and ski again...) and if you ever wanted to take your skinny skis on the alpine hillyou'll have your chance when Nordics take over Leroy's Loop on the 26th, and play in some terrain (ski up and go through a course of banked turns, a jump or two if you want--just for us!).
That was a long sentence, but you get the idea, let's enjoy March!
See you up here,
