The wind has finally died down a bit. We spend much more time than expect clearing trees off trails yesterday. Unfortunately, that slowed down our grooming, so we'll be out again today getting to the remaining outer trails (Cascade Brook, Upper Criterion).
The North End was groomed overnight and the South End will get a freshening during the day as well.
Snow is deep and soft and why not enjoy some more classic skiing! For all you skate skiers out there, I highly recommend giving classic skiing a chance. It's more work than you think (especially since you'll be trying to go your regular skate skiing speed!). If you don't have your own equipment, rent some from us--we have a good range of skis for stability or speed or both in our rentals and demo fleets. We even have a handful of skin skis left at 20-40% off.
See you up here,
