Sunday should another chilly one, but the skiing remains spectacular even if you only manage a few short trips out. Today we were able to open a few more trails in the South End. Drake's Brook, Dry Joes, Lower Fletcher's, and Sloppy Joes are all open with caution. These trails will remain a little bumpy and thin until we get our next snowfall. They are a little more enjoyable on classic skis than skate with the uneven surface. Lower Snows is still a little bouncy as well so use caution there. Beanbender and Swazeytown are also now open bringing our grand total to 56.5 KM with the entire North End open aside from the backside of Cascade Brook. It's pretty amazing to be skiing so much terrain before the new year, so make sure you get up here to enjoy it.
Thanks to everyone that braved the cold Friday night to come to the Season Passholder Party!
We'll be starting up our Nordic Kids program next Saturday (1/6) so give us a call to sign up. Our first women's clinic will be on January 13th and will include a full day of yoga, skiing, food, and fun! Don't forget about the Kris Freeman advanced skate clinic on January 14th.
Keep the fire roaring,
