Good Morning Skiers,
I hope all are enjoying the start of the Holiday season. It's been like a present every day up here for those of us who like to play on the snow. so cheers to all and I hope if you haven't been out enjoying this fantastic winter so far that you get out soon!
Quite warm conditions overnight have us starting the groom as late as possible this morning. It's still pretty warm, but should be cooling down as the day goes. Anything the Cat hasn't gotten to yet will be pretty messy--we got a few inches of snow yesterday!
The Livermore side was done first and will probably be the firmest. Then Tripoli and the rest of the Oceola/Tripoli side. Depending on temps we may snowmobile groom the the South End, which you can now access via Swan's Way or Lower Snows. Lower Snows is not tracked, but is a fun ski!
With the warmer temps first this this morning, conditions aren't good for fat biking. As the wind dries out the groomed trails, they likely will firm up enough for an afternoon ride, but please call a head to check conditions. Our rental fleet is well stocked and we want you to get out there if you can.
Trails are firm enough for fat biking in the morning, but will likely be too soft by early afternoon with the snow and warm temperatures. We have Framed fat bikes for rentals and for sale for you to try or buy.
Our selection of gear is good, but already moving fast. Pass holders, take advantage of your pass discount and for the rest of you, don't forget. Full ski packages are 20% off and we have a handful of closeouts on gear and clothing that just might work for anyone!
See you up here,
