A bit of snow has already accumulated and is just the start! I'm always entertained by the irony that too much snow keeping people from making it out to ski, so cheers if you're headed out. Drive safe--it will be beautiful when you get here.
We will be out on the snowmobiles during the storm to make for some easier skiing. As we're expecting some warmer and wetter precipitation tonight and tomorrow, we won't be grooming much after mid-day today.
We'll see what the temp swings do to the snow pack and do our best keep the skiing safe and fun for the rest of the weekend and upcoming week.
As snow accumulates fat biking conditions will deteriorate, so if you're planning on riding on our trails, then do it early! If you want to go out even in the deeper, softer snow, then we recommend that you head out Greeley Pond trail. You can slog through and not impact the quality of the ski trails (fat biking in soft and deeper snow isn't just bad for ski trails, it's really a serious effort).
See you up here,
